Wynn Al Marjan Island Hits Key Construction Milestones

Wynn Resorts recently reported that construction work at Wynn Al Marjan Island has reached a critical stage. The development of the hotel and its associated infrastructure shows substantial progress as the operator aims to create the most expansive casino resort project in Middle Eastern history. For Wynn, the development represents a high-stakes bet, with an estimated cost ranging from $3.9 billion to $5.1 billion.

A New Bridge Will Provide Excellent Connectivity

​The integrated resort, situated off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah, is scheduled to open its doors to visitors in spring 2027, marking the first authorized commercial gambling site within the United Arab Emirates. Wynn believes the venue will redefine luxury tourism in the region, giving the company a unique advantage in this highly promising market.

​The construction of Wynn Bridge has reached a vital milestone, achieving achieved 48% and remaining on schedule to become operational by the end of 2026. The 548-meter bridge will directly connect the resort with nearby beach districts and the broader UAE road network. It will serve as a key artery linking Dubai to the Northern Emirates, reinforcing Al Marjan Island’s accessibility for domestic and international visitors.

Measuring 548 meters in length, Wynn Bridge will connect Wynn Al Marjan Island, via the Wynn Boulevard, to the E311 and E611.

​Vertical construction on the resort itself has also recorded decisive progress. The signature tower topped out in December 2025 and now stands at 299 metres. Structural concrete work has reached the 71st floor, and work on the tower’s steel roof crown has also progressed. Façade panel installation is nearing completion, with more than 80%, so the building already features its distinctive silhouette.

The Main Building Is Already Taking Shape

Structural works inside the upcoming venue have been finalized across all 1,530 guest accommodations. These include rooms, suites, townhouses, Marina Estates, and Royal Apartments. Interior construction is underway, with mechanical, electrical, and finishing work progressing smoothly. Low-rise structures across the resort are effectively complete, as are key building systems, allowing fine-finish work to proceed according to plan.

​Wynn is also laying the groundwork for long-term operations. The company recently announced Oasis: A Wynn Community, a 26-acre residential development that will provide housing for over 7000 employees. Located a short drive from the resort and slated to open in summer 2026, the project reflects Wynn’s intention to create a stable workforce ahead of launch.

​Wynn Al Marjan Island will span over 60 hectares and offer a broad mix of attractions that extend beyond the casino floor. Plans include more than 20 dining and nightlife venues, a beach club, luxury retail, a flagship spa, a theater, extensive meeting and event space, 12 pools, a private marina, and a 420-metre beachfront area.
