Trainwreck Turns Costly Misclick Into $800K Jackpot
“We’re saved, we’re saved! Everything’s removed, everything’s removed,” he cheered on as he finally won the big prize
Mistakes in gambling can often result in significant losses. However, such was not the case for popular streamer Trainwreck, who recently won almost $800,000 thanks to a mistake, turning a $50,000 initial bonus into hundreds of thousands in payout.
Trainwreck’s Luck Turns Mistake into $800K Winnings
After coming out of his three-month hiatus, Trainwreck has been streaming regularly over the past few weeks. While he was often met with failure, such as losing $10 million over two days, a recent misclick actually turned out to be lucky for him.
The 35-year-old streamer, whose real name is Tyler Faraz Niknam, was recently playing Cyber Ronin, an online slot game made by Degen Lab. The game features five different bonus buy options. Trainwreck was aiming to select the Degen Spin, which guarantees at least three fight symbols on the reels at the start of a spin. However, he accidentally picked Blade Clash instead, which is a mode that includes a three-scatter bonus, multipliers, and defeated Samurai that carry over between spins.
This simple misclick resulted in a payout of $781,250, which is quite close to the streamer’s initial hopes of winning $800,000, a goal he set as he loaded the game at the beginning of his stream. Trainwreck couldn’t believe it, admitting he had thought the “three scatters sucked.”
Wait, I just bought the wrong one, oh my fucking God,” Trainwreck sighed when he mistakenly bought the wrong bonus. However, just seconds later, this mistake paid off. “Oh wow, hey, wow! Oh my God, what the fuck is going on?!” the streamer exclaimed as things came together. “We’re saved, we’re saved! Everything’s removed, everything’s removed,” he cheered on as he finally won the big prize.
What Else Has Trainwreck Been Up to Recently?
Marking this unexpected win that came from a mistake isn’t the only major prize that Trainwreck has scored recently. Just last week, the streamer also broke his streak of bad luck with Keno after winning $4 million after reaching an impressive 81.5× multiplier on the game.
For the past few years, gambling has been a cornerstone of the streamer’s content. However, this has landed him in some rough waters as he and other gambling streamers on Twitch faced criticism over the illegality of online gambling and the potential harm it could pose to underage viewers. After the popular online casino Stake was banned on Twitch, Trainwreck moved to Kick, a newer streaming platform with financial connections to Stake. While Trainwreck took some time off streaming in late 2025 and early 2026, he is now back to streaming a lot of gambling content.
