Trainwreck Shares Story of Massive Bitcoin Win and Loss in One Day
At the time, his 2,500 Bitcoin win was worth roughly $40 million, but with today’s price exceeding $106,000 per coin, that lost fortune would now be valued at approximately $267 million

Trainwreck, a well-known gambling streamer, has shared details of a dramatic win-and-loss event from three years ago. During a recent stream, the 34-year-old content creator told viewers he once won 2,500 Bitcoin in a single day of gambling but lost it all within the next 24 hours.
Trainwreck Reflects on $267M Bitcoin Loss After Gambling Away Fortune in One Day
Back then, the Bitcoin he won had a value of about $40 million. Now that the cryptocurrency trades at over $106,000, the lost amount would be worth around $267 million today. Looking back on the event, Trainwreck said the experience left him broke, adding it was one of the most careless times in his career. He called his choice to keep gambling with the huge winnings stupid when he thinks about it now.
While Trainwreck did not pinpoint the exact session where the win happened, fans online guessed it might have been during a run of big slot victories. These included talk of a 14 million full-screen hit on Wanted and a huge off-stream payout on Might of Ra. Some viewers also thought it could have been a session cut short by technical problems, which led to a massive win off-camera.
Trainwreck Returns to Streaming with $9.6M Slot Win and a “Generational” Hot Streak
Even after a devastating defeat, Trainwreck has bounced back in an impressive way. He started streaming again on June 1 following a three-month break, and he has called his current streak “generational,” saying he has experienced one of the luckiest runs of his career. A recent standout moment was a massive $9.6 million jackpot while playing Munchies, a slot game by Nolimit City known for its high volatility. This win, which came from a $240 bet, reached the game’s maximum payout of 40,000 times the original stake.
Known for speaking his mind, Trainwreck used this chance to slam parts of the gambling world while giving props to the game maker. He took shots at Stake.com co-founder Eddie Craven, hinting the win might bug him, and called Nolimit City one of the top creators in the field.
The streamer often stresses safe gambling, but his own story shows how fast you can win and lose a fortune. Even with millions won and lost over time, he insists his streams are just for fun and warns viewers that gambling is for those who can handle such risks.
