Stake Welcomes Patrice Evra as Its Latest Brand Ambassador
Evra celebrated his new agreement with Stake.com with a short skit that he shared across his social media accounts

Stake.com has onboarded yet another extremely recognizable sports personality as a brand ambassador, expanding its portfolio of partnering athletes. This time, the online and crypto gaming powerhouse has teamed up with Patrice Evra, a French former soccer pro.
Stake Onboards Another Famous Athlete
Patrice Evra is a name that will be known to most fans of European soccer. With an incredible career behind his back, Evra has played with the likes of Monaco, Juventus, West Ham United, and Manchester United. During his time as a professional player for Manchester, Evra has won five Premier League titles, as well as the UEFA Champions League.
Evra’s fame, however, runs wider as he’s also represented France in multiple major tournaments, such as the UEFA European Championships in 2008, 2012, and 2016, and the FIFA World Cups in 2010 and 2014.
In July 2019, Evra retired from competing but remained a sports personality who continued to discuss the latest developments in soccer.
Evra Celebrated the Deal with a Promo Vid
Evra celebrated his new agreement with Stake.com with a short skit that he shared across his social media. The humorous video shows him asking for “Stake” only to receive a steak instead. The player later clarifies that this is not what he asked for and is then handed a box with a tablet displaying Stake’s website instead.
In the description, the player said that he is always giving his max and that it is therefore time for a “max win.”
As a brand ambassador for Stake, Evra will join other celebrities working with the company, including the musician and sports betting enthusiast Drake. This is not Evra’s first touch with the iGaming industry either, as he previously served as a brand ambassador with Khelraja and also participated in SiGMA Europe.
Evra’s Passion Resonated with Stake
Stake’s chief marketing officer, Akhil Sarin, welcomed Evra to the Stake family, praising him as a global “footballing icon” and one of the best left-backs. Sarin said that Evra’s eccentric personality and deep understanding of soccer resonated with Stake’s mission to offer premium entertainment.
We see great synergy between Patrice and the Stake brand, and are really looking forward to what will be a great partnership.
Akhil Sarin, CMO, Stake
Evra was also pleased with the agreement and said that he is looking forward to working with Stake and becoming a part of the operator’s family. He added that the company is a very fun and exciting brand that, just like him, always seeks to “give its max.”
In addition to expressing his love for soccer, Evra noted that he is a huge MMA fan, which is another highlight of partnering with Stake. According to him, the latest deal will “put him on the same team” as his favorite MMA fighters. Moreover, teaming up with Stake will, for the first time, put Evra on the same team as his former Manchester City rival, Sergio Agüero.
