Spain vs. France 2024 Euro Odds, Time, and Prediction
Spain vs. France is the first semifinal game of the 2024 Euro. The game is on the program on Tuesday, July 9, at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

Spain is the team that scored 11 goals in Euro 2024 so far – no other team scored more. This Tuesday, La Roya are taking on France who have scored only three goals, two of which were own goals by their opponents. Despite playing a sort of anti-soccer, Les Bleus have made it all the way to the semifinal stage. Can they take it a step further? Not if you ask Spain.

When, Where, and How to Watch?
- Place: Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany
- Date: Tuesday, July 9
- Time: 3:00 PM ET
- How to Watch: FOX
Reasons Why Spain are Favored to Win on July 9
Spain won every single game in Group C, which was dubbed the “group of death” of Euro 2024, given that, in addition to Spain, this group also featured the last Euros winners Italy, as well as Croatia, and Albania.
La Roya also won their round of 16 game relatively easily. They did go 1:0 down against Georgia but ended up winning 4:1. Then, in the quarterfinal, they beat Germany 2:1 after extra time. It was 1:1 in the regular 90 minutes and it looked like penalties were going to decide the winner. But then, in the 119th minute of the match, Mikel Moreno scored the winning goal.
Unfortunately for Spain, their right-back Daniel Carvajal got sent off, which is why he’s going to miss the game with France. The reason why this is such a big problem is that 38-year-old Jesus Navas will probably be the one with the task of trying to contain France’s Kylian Mbappe.
Is It Time for France to Start Scoring?
France still haven’t scored a single goal from open play. Two of their three goals at the Euros happened after opposition players slotted the ball into their own net. The third goal Les Bleus scored was a Kylian Mbappe goal from the penalty spot.
The lack of goals, however, doesn’t seem to bother Didier Deschamps and his men. The manager believes that solid defense is the key to winning the trophies. And this guy is someone whose opinion matters. After all, he’s the one who led France to the World Cup trophy in 2018.
Can he lead them to the 2024 Euro trophy as well? Odds aren’t in France’s favor right now, but there’s no doubt that this team has some incredible players on the roster. Mbappe is their biggest star, but France’s Euro squad could easily create two separate teams that could compete for the trophy.
Spain vs. France Prediction
Three of the four quarterfinal games in the 2024 Euro finished in a draw after 90 minutes. Those include the games that involved Spain and France. This is why we think it’s very likely this game will see extra times and maybe even penalties.
Pick: Spain vs. France – Draw
