Shocking New Details Revealed in Las Vegas Escort Murder Case
The prime suspect for the crime allegedly admitted he "snapped" and then proceeded to choke the 30-year-old victim

A violent crime that has taken place at a hotel room at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, has claimed the life of one sex worker. Although the crime itself took place early in June, the victim passed away on June 21.
Now, a newly released report releases chilling details regarding the brutal murder and suggests the attacker allegedly confessed. Currently, police hold one 35-year-old man, identified with the initials J.K., as a prime suspect in the case.
As announced by 8 News Now, the victim was identified with the initials L.G., she was 30 and a mother of two children. Reportedly, the victim was currently attending school as well.
The 30-year-old woman used pseudonyms such as “Dallas” and “Andrea” to offer her services via a website that contained escort ads. On June 12, the victim met with the attacker in the casino resort’s lobby at approximately 4 PM.
The two entered a hotel room and about an hour later, the 35-year-old suspected murderer walked out. The escort allegedly agreed to receive $2,000 to have sex with the 35-year-old suspect. However, per court documents, once the sex worker requested more money, the attacker allegedly “snapped.”
According to court documents, the 35-year-old man then proceeded to choke the victim for “ten minutes.” After that, he had sex with her, dragged her body away from the door and exited the hotel room. Once he left the casino resort, the suspect reported that a woman had overdosed inside the hotel room.
The Sex Worker Did Not Overdose
Considering the report about an overdose, casino security was immediately dispatched to the hotel room. The 30-year-old victim was later transported to a hospital where doctors determined that there were no drugs or alcohol in her blood.
This immediately raised the suspicion that the sex worker was likely the victim of an assault or battery, as explained in court documents. More than a week after the incident, the 30-year-old woman passed away after she was declared brain dead by doctors.
In light of the report that the victim had overdosed, police didn’t take action initially. However, once it was determined that the victim was assaulted and likely died due to strangulation, law enforcement investigated the case.
CCTV footage recorded the attacker meeting the suspect in the hotel lobby at Palms Casino Resort. He is then seen exiting the hotel room with no one else entering or exiting before security arrives after the call about the overdose.
The 35-year-old suspect who surrendered to the police last week is currently facing several charges. He is currently being held without bail. The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
