The venue’s vice president and assistant general manager emphasized the property's ongoing commitment to delivering a winning experience for guests and maintaining its reputation as the Luckiest Casino in the US
For the fourth consecutive year, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has surpassed $2 billion in jackpot payouts as it handed out almost 700,000 jackpots of over $1,200 or more.
The Casino Paid Out Hundreds of Thousands of Jackpots in 2025
So far this year, the casino has awarded more than 669,000 jackpots of $1,200 or more. At the current pace, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa is on track to distribute an estimated $2.72 billion in jackpots by the end of 2025. Among the most highly anticipated jackpots is a $1 million Dragon Link progressive in the High Limit area, which has now grown to $1.95 million and continues to build as it awaits its next lucky winner.
Joseph Wagner, vice president and assistant general manager of Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, expressed excitement over the milestone, noting that reaching $2 billion in jackpots for another consecutive year is a thrilling achievement. He emphasized the property’s ongoing commitment to delivering a winning experience for guests and maintaining its reputation as the Luckiest Casino in the US.
One big contributor to the huge sum of money that the casino paid out in jackpots this year comes from a man who hit 389 jackpots in a single day, walking away with over $1.8 million earlier this summer. A Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa media release called the venue the “luckiest casino in the United States,” following the player’s huge win.
Here Are Some More Stats
It’s been a banner year for slot players at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, where jackpots have been hitting at a record pace in 2025.
On average, more than 2,570 jackpots of $1,200 or more are being paid out daily. This is a staggering figure that reflects the sheer volume of winners walking away with serious cash. So far this year, over 308 players have scored jackpots of $100,000 or more, including one lucky guest who walked away with a prize topping $1 million.
What’s even more impressive? Many of these big wins came from small bets. Thirty-two six-figure jackpots were won on wagers of just $5 per spin or less, proving you don’t need to bet big to win big. Altogether, slot machines at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa have paid out more than $12.1 billion in 2025 alone. Of that total, over $2 billion has come from jackpots of $1,200 or more.
