Technology Strategy in Focus
New CTO Blanco would be tasked with oversight of the company’s technology strategy to support continuous efforts to maintain its leadership role across multiple gaming verticals, including lottery, sports betting, gaming and iGaming.
In addition, Victor Blanco, who boasts significant gaming industry experience, would provide support with regards to the development and execution of new gaming products at Scientific Games.
“Victor’s innovative and strategic approach to both software and hardware design is a great fit for our Scientific Games leadership team. We know that his leadership will ensure we are providing the most innovative games, systems and products for our partners and players.”

Blanco’s professional experience includes multiple roles as a software engineer at Microsoft, where he actively participated in the development of the first Xbox console and online service, as well as a director of software architecture at HTC, prior to joining Aristocrat.
Other High-Profile Appointments
The news of the pending appointment of Victor Blanco continues the trend at Scientific Games of bringing top-notch industry experts on board to support the company’s aggressive expansion strategy.

Johnson, who has been with the company for 4 years already, having previously served as UK commercial director, was tasked to analyze and advance potential growth opportunities, while Bombassei was placed in charge of managing relations with investors and other interested parties and providing advice to the executive team.
