Even without him, Carlo Ancelotti’s men were able to win the Champions League with relative ease. With him in the squad, Los Blancos look capable of winning every single competition they’re in.

Can Atalanta Ruin Ral Madrid’s Plans?

The short answer is no. However, everyone thought these guys weren’t going to win the Europa League either. In the Final with Bundesliga champ Bayer Leverkusen, they were seen as +330 underdogs.

However, Gian Piero Gasperini’s men went onto the field and completely dominated the game, winning 3:0 in the end, with all three goals by Ademola Lookman. He’s still in the team and so are most of Atalanta’s key men.

Aleksey Miranchuk moved to Atalanta United, Hans Hateboer moved to Rennes, but all the others are still on the team. Plus, Atalanta signed a couple of very good players during the summer transfer window, most notably, defender Ben Godfrey from Everton and midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo from Galatasaray.
