PointsBet Inks Multi-Year Partnership with Detroit Red Wings

The NHL franchise, Detroit Red Wings named PointsBet an Official Gaming Partner. Under the multi-year agreement, the sportsbook will benefit from the brand display. Furthermore, the agreement brings rebranding of the Sports & Social Detroit venue at Little Caesars Arena to a PointsBet Sports Bar.
Detroit Red Wings Names PointsBet an Official Gaming Partner
PointsBet, the leading sportsbook operator, announced that it entered into a key partnership with the Detroit Red Wings in Michigan. Under the multi-year agreement inked on Tuesday this week, the sportsbook operator became an Official Gaming Partner of the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise Red Wings.
PointsBet is going to benefit from television broadcast-visible virtual signage. Furthermore, under the partnership, PointsBet LED signage and branding will be visible throughout Little Caesars Arena during Red Wings home games.
Aiming at enhancing player engagement and excitement, the partnership includes the rebranding of Sports & Social Detroit venue at Little Caesars Arena to a PointsBet Sports Bar. The rebranded sports bar is expected to be operational this year and offer a full-service food and beverage menu. Furthermore, the venue will feature HD TV, live betting odds, as well as VIP access, and exciting gaming promotions.

PointsBet presence will be featured at The District Detroit mobile app, Red Wings’ digital platforms as well as at the Detroit Red Wings Radio Network. Last but not least, PointsBet will benefit from its presence on the live streaming show, The Word on Woodward, that airs on both Red Wings’ and Detroit Tigers’ channels.
A similar multi-year agreement was signed between the Detroit Tigers and PointsBet in July last year. Furthermore, only a week ago, the company inked another key partnership with a Michigan-based team. PointsBet became an Official Sports Betting Partner of the leading NBA franchise Detroit Pistons early last week.
A Unique Opportunity for PointsBet
Representing the Detroit Red Wings, Ilitch Holdings, Inc., Group President, Sports & Entertainment, Chris Granger, said in a statement that the team’s fans enjoy a lively atmosphere. According to him, the partnership will boost the energy and “bring to the game-day experience in and around Little Caesars Arena.”

Mr. Aitken stressed that PointsBet now has the unique opportunity to work with both the Red Wings and the Tigers. He added that with the help of its unique product, PointsBet offers “the most betting options in the world on NHL and MLB games“. In conclusion, Mr. Aitken said that the company is excited to unveil a deep and differentiated betting option in the growing market of Michigan.
