The Connecticut duo were happy to celebrate their win via a photo-op with an outsized check and the iconic Wheel of Fortune slot machine in the backdrop, with the Mohegan Sun property sharing the glad tidings on the social media platform X.

Funnily, the pair thought that the jackpot was a malfunction, but were assured by a casino staffer that everything was in order.

Earlier this year, a player in Mississippi managed to turn their $3 bet into a $1.1-million payout on the game, adding to the list of millionaires minted by the three-decade-old slot blockbuster.
