Pennsylvania Player Wins $1M from Scratch-off Ticket, Cash 5 Player Grabs $900K Jackpot  

The Pennsylvania Lottery has minted more big prize winners, including one who won a million dollars from a scratch-off ticket.

Jackpot Player Wins the Game’s Top Prize

In its official announcement, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced that a player in Somerset County just won $1 million from a scratch-off ticket. The player in question won the prize from a $20 Jackpot ticket, officials elaborated. This is notably the top prize players can win from the Jackpot scratch-off game.

The lottery added that the winning ticket was sold at Sheetz, 118 South Rosina Avenue, Somerset Boro, which will receive a $5,000 bonus for the sale.

At launch, Jackpot featured 5 top prizes of $1 million. According to the Pennsylvania Lottery’s official website, the game now has two more top prizes remaining.

Butler County Player Wins Lottery Cash 5 Jackpot

In the meantime, lottery officials said that a jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash was sold last week. The ticket in question matched all five balls drawn for the Thursday, February 12, drawing.

For context, the winning numbers were 7, 10, 12, 17, and 37. Having matched all of them, the ticket won $889,273.50.

Lottery officials said that the winning ticket was sold at BP, 225 South Main St., Zelienople Boro, which will receive a $5,000 seller’s bonus.

The lottery encouraged players to check their tickets and contact the nearest lottery officer if they hold the winning ticket.

The Latest Powerball and Mega Millions Drawings Did Not Award a Jackpot

In the meantime, the recent Mega Millions and Powerball drawings did not crown a winner of either game’s top prize. However, the latest Powerball drawing did award two prizes of $1 million to two separate players.

Speaking of Powerball, a player in North Carolina recently scooped up the $209.3 million jackpot from one of January’s drawings. The lucky winner opted to remain anonymous and take the lump sum of $95.3 million before taxes.

The next Powerball drawing is set to take place today, with the next Mega Millions drawing scheduled for the day after.
