Single Mother of Three Wins It Big

V. is moving into her brand-new, four-bedroom and three-bath house, which is located in a gated community – Temecula. The woman is very happy about her new acquisition. As a single mom with three adult daughters and several grandchildren, V. most certainly has the means to use the spacious new property and host her large family.

She is an immigrant from Mexico who moved to the United States “many years ago,” a statement read, detailing her win. The story of V. is one of a successful immigrant, too. Upon arrival, she quickly took to evening school to learn English and secure a job.

She also became a custodian for a trade union office and has been a trade union representative for medical professionals who care for the elderly in California, most recently.

The promotion is done in a TV-like style with finalists selected carefully, until the field is reduce to just a handful of participants who then have to pick random boxes, pick keys and then try to unlock and walk through a studio-installed doorframe to indicate to the public that they have won and for onlookers to capture the genuine surprise when the key turns and the door opens.

V. has been very happy with her lot, and she said, through tears at the time of realizing she had won, that the American dream was alive and well.

“A lot of people mentioned this is the American dream, and I believe it. This is going to be my first house. I’m a single mom and never had a chance to get a house, but now it’s my house, and I’m excited. I feel blessed. This is for me and for my family. I feel so much gratitude in my heart,” V. said, expressing her gratitude.
