OKTO Rolls Out Direct Cash-in Solution in Mexico
The launch will directly address the needs of many local iGaming players, providing them with quick and reliable payment solutions
Next-gen payment service provider OKTO announced that its direct card-in solution is now available in Mexico, amid increased demand for such services. The company said that this will empower online casino players, providing them with unprecedented convenience.
The Launch Aligns with OKTO’s LATAM Strategy
According to OKTO’s announcement, the new direct card-in solution service is tied to Mexico’s local payment rails. As a result, users can make real-time payments that are in line with the local financial infrastructure.
The company lauded this as a major milestone in its mission to deliver orchestrated payment experiences across Latin America.
OKTO elaborated that this launch is consistent with its Orchestrated Pay-ins and Payouts strategy. Per this strategy, OKTO has been working hard to streamline the payment journey for both merchants and users.
OKTO added that the new solution will be especially beneficial to online casino enthusiasts. For context, 25% of iGaming fans in Mexico use card payments.
With card payments representing more than 25% of Mexico’s iGaming audience, the solution provides operators with direct access to a major segment of players who rely on the convenience, familiarity, and trust of card-based deposits.
OKTO statement
The company listed the removal of unnecessary intermediaries, greater merchant control over payment flows, more competitive pricing structures, faster processing times, smoother experiences, and strengthened fraud management as the key benefits of its solution.
OKTO noted that the card-in service complements its existing SPEI in and out local payment offerings.
OKTO Addresses the Needs of Local Players
OKTO’s chief operating officer, Thomas Georgopoulos, was very pleased with the launch of the direct card-in solution in Mexico due to the importance of this market to the company’s LATAM growth strategy. He explained that the launch will directly address the needs of many local iGaming players, providing them with quick and reliable payment solutions.
By integrating with Mexico’s local acquiring network, we help merchants reduce costs, increase approval rates, and deliver the fast, seamless deposit experience that players expect from trusted, high-performing brands.
Thomas Georgopoulos, COO, OKTO
OKTO noted that the launch of the direct card-in service in Mexico comes shortly after the rollout of real-time account-to-account payments in Peru last month. The company concluded that it remains committed to further growth across the LATAM region.
