New Jersey Man Wins $3M Top Prize from Scratcher

Yet another lucky lottery player has hit it big just in time for 2026. This time, the fortunate player was a lottery enthusiast from Hudson County, New Jersey.

According to the New Jersey Lottery’s official announcement, the winner in question won the top prize from a Win for Life! ticket. Win for Life! is a scratch-off game, which, as the name suggests, sets up its luckiest winners for life.

The top prize of the game is $10,000 a month for 25 years (for a total of $3 million), ensuring winners a stress-free life. Alternatively, players can take the lump sum option of $1,769,800.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, the winner in question bought the ticket at the 502 Grocery and Deli, 502 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City.

For context, the prize won by the Hudson County player is one of the three top prizes available in the latest version of Win for Life! As of the time of this writing, two more top prizes remain.

The New Jersey Listed More Recent Winners

The New Jersey Lottery also highlighted several other recent winners, including the recipient of a $250,000 prize from its $250,000 Crossword scratch-off game. The winner of that prize bought the winning ticket at Millennium Food Mart, 108 Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, Essex County, on January 1. Officials added that three of the six top prizes remained as of the time of the announcement.

In addition to that, a separate player, this time in Atlantic County, won a $200,000 prize from Merry Money Tree. The ticket was sold at Wawa #433, 502 Shore Road, Somers Point, on December 29.

On that very same day, this very same game awarded another prize of $200,000. The second six-figure sum was won by a player who purchased their ticket from 7-Eleven #11036, 45 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Monmouth County. As a result, all three top prizes in the Merry Money Tree game have now been won.
