Mikki Mase Faces a Defamation Lawsuit by Sean Perry
Sean Perry is suing Mikki Mase for Defamation after several sexual assault allegations
Sean Perry, a poker player, is suing fellow poker player Mikky Mase for defamation.
Each of the two could be considered a controversial gambler.
A lawsuit was filed on August 29 in the Nevada district court, after Mase made several sexual assault allegations against Perry.
The individuals listed in the lawsuit are Michael Meiterman (Mase), William Darnell Smith (also known as “Mazi”), and Charlie Cavalier, a former employee of Perry’s.
Spencer Cornelia, a YouTuber who exposes gambling scammers, recently released a video detailing the lawsuit.
Friends Turned Bitter Enemies
A video on YouTube showcases both Perry and Mase on a podcast praising each other’s skills.
It is believed that things between them broke down when talks of launching their own podcast fell through.
Earlier this year, during a Twitter Spaces conversation, Perry brought up several stories where he presented instances where they allegedly faced disagreements.
Perry claims that the self-proclaimed “winning baccarat player” was asking for $50,000 each episode to be a part of the podcast, but was allegedly willing to settle for $20,000 due to their friendship.
On another occasion, Perry also claims that after winning $130,000 at Baccarat, Mase wanted to take half as a personal fee for playing.
Ties Severed
During the Twitter Spaces conversation, Mase joined and began alleging that Perry had sexually assaulted a woman.
After a back-and-forth conversation between the two, Perry agreed to take a lie detector test.
Both of them agreed; however, the results of the lie detector test have remained undisclosed.
In the lawsuit also filed against “Mazi,” 15 instances have been laid out where he allegedly makes sexual assault accusations against Perry.
So far, Perry hasn’t received any criminal charges.
