MGM Resorts Publishes Borgata Winter Poker Open Schedule

MGM Resorts’ Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, has teamed up with BetMGM Poker to host the Borgata Winter Poker Open. The spectacular event will feature a total guarantee of $10 million and will be an important addition to the 2024 poker calendar.

The Borgata Winter Poker Open will run from January 1 to January 26, allowing poker enthusiasts to kick 2024 off with a bang. Speaking of kickoffs, the Borgata Winter Poker Open will open the festivities with a Kick-Off Event with an $800 buy-in and a $2 million guarantee.

A total of 20 secondary and satellite events will be hosted. Furthermore, BetMGM has planned a variety of tournaments, such as the Almighty Million Event and the five-day No Limit Hold’Em event that will be the highlight of the Borgata Winter Poker Open. For reference, the latter event will have $5,300 buy-ins and will feature a $3 million guarantee.

BetMGM Poker will serve as the exclusive online registration and qualifications partner for the event. Poker fans can secure packages for the Borgata Winter Poker Open tournament starting in December 2023.

Packages will allow players to join multiple tournaments and experience much of what MGM has to offer. Players can also qualify for the event through online qualifiers on the BetMGN Poker app from December 3 onward. Some of the qualifier events will have entry fees as low as $2.

The announcement comes amid the ongoing Borgata Poker Fall Mini-Series. The Mini-Series event will run through November 19.

Earlier this month, BetMGM launched a Borgata Bingo online app in New Jersey, providing bingo fans in the Garden State with premium bingo excitement at their fingertips.
