MGM Resorts Brings Gary Fritz to Spearhead Interactive Division

MGM Resorts International has appointed Gary Fritz as its new president of MGM Resorts Interactive. Fritz will be tasked with working on the group’s overall diversification and expansion in various digital platforms over the next years.
Growth and Innovation Become Focus of Interactive Arm
To achieve this, Fritz will seek to start original initiatives from within the company but also work on important acquisitions that can help the company reach its stated goal. Growth and innovation will be two important watchwords under Gary who will work on the sports betting and iGaming platform with BetMGM.
MGM Resorts International CEO & president Bill Hornbuckle welcomed the appointment of Fritz and commended his abilities which will play a vital role in the further company diversification and pivot towards digital innovation. He said:
Enhancing and growing our digital businesses is one of MGM Resorts’ top priorities, and Gary is uniquely positioned to help the company build on successes and seize new opportunities.

Fritz experience is definitely notable. He used to be head of gaming for IAC and he assisted in the acquisition of LeoVegas, a major digital group that was bought out by MGM Resorts. As a professional, Fritz is well-versed in digital gaming and growth strategies, and he will seek to implement this as part of MGM’s core offering.
Fritz Feels Confident about His New Job
Commenting on his appointment, Fritz said that he was excited to be part of the firm’s new chapter and that he was looking forward to contributing to its business acceleration and scaling of digital gaming growth. Fritz added:
