Manchester United vs. Arsenal 2025-26 EPL Odds, Time, and Prediction
Manchester United vs. Arsenal is arguably the biggest thriller in the first round of the 2025-26 English Premier League. The match is on the program on Sunday, August 17, at Old Trafford
Both Manchester United and Arsenal are ready for the new Premier League season, and both hope the 2025-26 campaign will be more successful than the last one. For the Red Devils, achieving that plan shouldn’t be that hard – they just need to finish higher than 15th place.
Of course, a team with such an illustrious history as Man United should have much higher ambitions. These guys need to aim for a Euro spot. Arsenal, on the other hand, seems to be ready to challenge for the title.

Man United Hoping to Beat Arsenal for the 1st Time in Almost 3 Years
It was September 4, 2022, when Manchester United last defeated Arsenal in a competitive game. Since then, the Red Devils are 0-2-4 against the Gunners.
In their most recent duel, however, the boys from Manchester managed to snatch a point. It was 1:1 at Old Trafford last March, but in that game, Arsenal’s coach Mikel Arteta couldn’t count on several of his key offensive players.

Truth be told, Man United’s boss Ruben Amorim also missed a number of players, including Mason Mount, Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Maguire, and a few others. Most of them will be at Old Trafford on June 17, but the Red Devils will be without a couple of key men, most notably, their first-choice goalie, Andre Onana.
Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir will probably take his place, but we’re not 100% sure if he’s gonna do the job well. Based on what we’ve seen from this guy in the offseason friendlies, he might be their Achilles’ heel.
Arsenal Ready for a Crucial Season
Arsenal is an English soccer powerhouse, but it’s been a while since this team won the Premier League. The last time it happened was in 2004. The good news, however, for the Gunners is that their 2025-26 roster looks fantastic.
All of their key men from the last season (when they finished second in the EPL) are still on the team, with a couple of new players arriving. Their biggest signing of the summer is Martin Zubimendi, whom many believe to be among the best defensive midfielders in the world today.

The Gunners also made their offensive line more dangerous by acquiring Viktor Gyokeres’ contract. The former Sporting CP striker is a scoring machine who put away 39 goals in 33 matches last season.
Manchester United vs. Arsenal Prediction
The Gunners are second on the list of top Premier League favorites, just behind Liverpool. The competition this season is gonna be fierce as Man City and Chelsea also have high ambitions. That’s why Arsenal’s players need to give their utmost in every single game, including the one in the opening week of the 2025-26 campaign.
Our prediction is that they will take this game seriously and get themselves all three points from the trip to the North.
Pick: Arsenal
