Man Murders Two People over Dice Game
By examining surveillance footage, detectives, police officers and special agents were able to identify and later apprehend the suspect

Getting worked up during a game could happen to the best of us. Yet, one Detroit man took his frustration a step too far, murdering two people over a dice game.
The Man Used a Potato as a Silencer
The man with initials D.D.F. was allegedly playing a dice game with two other men in an apartment in the 100 block of North Sanford Street near Fiddis Avenue in Pontiac, Michigan. When he lost $80, the man became angry and shot the other two players with a gun. After that, he fled the scene by calling an Uber driver.
After hearing the gunshots, locals called the authorities, who rushed to the crime scene. One of the men who were shot by D.D.F. was found dead. The other was carried to a nearby hospital where he passed away shortly after.
The authorities learned that D.D.F. had tried to conceal his crime by using a potato as a pistol silencer. This, obviously, didn’t have the intended effect since people were still able to hear and report the gunshots.
By examining surveillance footage, detectives, police officers and special agents were able to identify the suspect. He was later found in Southfield carrying groceries and a case of beer, and promptly arrested.
Oakland County’s Sheriff Blasted the Disregard for Human Life
Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard commented on the matter, expressing saying that he was appalled by the suspect’s disregard for human life. He added that he is looking forward to holding D.D.F. accountable and praised his colleagues who made the culprit’s capture possible.
I am proud of our substation, all our detectives and our partners for the effort that brought this cold-blooded killer into custody within 12 hours.
Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard
Bouchard slammed D.D.F.’s alleged use of violence over nothing. He suggested that if the man didn’t like the outcome of his gambles, he should have just quit gambling.
D.D.F. is set to appear to court in October 22. He has been charged with three counts of felony via a firearm and two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
In the meantime, the Harrah’s Joliet Hotel and Casino attacker is currently awaiting his sentencing after a judge pronounced a guilty verdict.
