LuckBox Studios Onboards Industry Veteran John Maguire as Chief Customer Officer

Maguire has previously worked for the likes of FanDuel, Sportsbet, and Boyle Sports

LuckBox Studios, an up-and-coming sports prediction tech company, announced the appointment of an industry veteran as its new chief customer officer. The one joining the studio at this time is John Maguire, a former member of gaming powerhouse FanDuel.

Maguire Joins LuckBox to Help It Redefine Betting

LuckBox Studios, which confirmed the appointment on LinkedIn, said that Maguire will be tasked with advancing the development of the company’s universal sports trading platform. This innovative platform has been designed to reimagine the online sportsbook product by adopting the ethos of any bet being placed at any time. Officials believe that this philosophy, paired with strong probability and pricing, sets LuckBox up for future success within the prediction markets sector.

As chief customer officer, Maguire will ultimately be responsible for turning LuckBox’s product vision into a reality. To that end, he will align product, tech, and data to ensure that the platform creates value for its betting and prediction market partners.

As mentioned, the new appointee is no stranger to the gaming industry and has, in fact, served FanDuel, one of the global leaders in sports betting, as vice president of trading product and general manager for Australia. Prior to joining FanDuel, Maguire spent several years at Sportsbet. Earlier still, he spent 9 years at Boyle Sports.

A “Clear Opportunity” for LuckBox Studios

LuckBox described its new chief customer officer as an expert in delivering complex trading and pricing systems on a global scale. According to the leadership, these qualities make him perfect for the job.

Speaking of which, Ryan Coombs, LuckBox Studios’ co-founder and CEO, welcomed the appointee on board, praising his robust expertise.

John is one of the most highly regarded trading and product leaders in the industry, and his experience aligns perfectly with our vision at LuckBox. Sports betting and prediction markets still have significant room to evolve, and we see a clear opportunity to help shape what comes next.
