Caesars Entertainment has announced and publicized the most recent win of a longtime player, a member of the Caesars Awards program, who secured the life-altering $1.20 million payout at the Horseshoe Council Bluffs Hotel & Casino.

First Big Winner from New Progressive Network Announced in Iowa

The jackpot drop occurred on Saturday, February 7, and it is the first million-dollar winner at the company’s new multi-casino progressive jackpot that pools prizes from the Harrah’s Council Buffs Hotel & Casino, Horseshoe Council Buffs, Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf, and the Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo. 

The gambler, revealed by his name as Michael, has been a member of the Caesars Rewards program for 30 years and has always felt at home at any of the Caesars properties. Commenting on the fresh win, Harrah’s & Horseshoe Council Bluffs Senior VP & general manager Thomas Roberts said:

The winner did not share much else about their experience at the property, nor has the property. However, the company used the opportunity to publicize the new progressive jackpot network, offering players hefty payouts across the board and bringing them a worthwhile experience in Iowa and beyond.

Michael won the life-altering amount after hitting a royal flush on Ultimate Texas Hold’em, a milestone for the property, Caesars at large, and the player himself!
