The Player Drew One of the Rarest Hands Possible

The win in question happened at the Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino, according to an announcement by casino officials. In a post on Facebook, the property confirmed that a player whom it referred to as Nestor won a total of $381,013.

The casino elaborated that Nestor won the Pai Gow progressive jackpot, which stood at $376,013 at the time. In addition to that, the fortunate player also scooped up an extra $5,000 with his Fortune Bonus bet.

As it turns out, Nestor won his jackpot with a 7-card straight flush, which is one of the rarest and strongest combinations in Pai Gow poker. A seven-card straight flush, for context, is an unlikely combination in which a player gets seven cards of the same suit in sequential order.

The Force Is Strong with This One

As mentioned, the Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino congratulated Nestor on his win.

May the 4th be with Nestor! He struck it big this morning at Santa Fe Station, hitting the Pai Gow progressive jackpot with an epic 7-card straight flush—scoring $376,013 plus an extra $5,000 with his Fortune Bonus. Talk about a winning hand!

Player Wins $3.3M Jackpot

In other news, a man in Mississippi recently won the “Wheel of Fortune” slot jackpot at Harlow’s Casino & Resort Spa. The player in question took a life-changing $3.26 million home. Unfortunately, the response to his win was somewhat mixed.

While many players congratulated the lucky player on his jackpot or used the opportunity to fool around and take jabs at their own gaming misfortune, others seemed frustrated with the casino. The angriest of players went as far as alleging that the win has been staged and that no one really wins anything ever.
