Kalshi to Feature in Fox News Broadcasts with Prediction Data

The yes/no prediction market platform has struck another important deal, expanding its reach and normalizing its existence in the mainstream

Kalshi’s expansion across traditional and digital media continues, with the company signing up yet another high-profile deal with FOX News. The deal follows in the same footsteps of agreements already signed with the likes of CNN and CNBC. Even the Associated Press teamed up with Kalshi recently.

Kalshi Teams up with FOX to Boost Reach Across Domestic Audiences

As part of the deal, the two partners have highlighted the opportunity to enhance journalism across the board by providing Kalshi’s unique in-house data algorithms to help spot news trends as they emerge, empowering professional journalism to express the stories as they develop.

The data will be featured as an overlay across some of the media’s most popular cable channels. The data streams will be integrated with both the linear and digital content, and Kalshi will collaborate with FOX data and production teams to ensure that data is accessed in real-time through seamless visualization.

The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the deal; however, the data will focus on a diverse range of topics, including politics, economics, weather, and cultural storylines, as per an official statement by the companies.

“Currently the number one network in all of cable, FOX News Channel has also been the most watched television news channel for 24 consecutive years, while FOX Business Network is the top business channel on cable,” Kalshi said in the same press statement, commenting on the fresh opportunity, and pointed out that FOX News Media reaches 200 million people every month.

Following in the Footsteps of Similar Partnerships

While Kalshi is teaming up with a network that has been openly supportive of Republicans and the presidency of Donald Trump, Kalshi has been able to strike partnerships from across the political divide, teaming up with more democratically-leaning media networks as well as attracting high-profile professionals who have previously worked with opposing political camps.

At the same time, Kalshi has been fighting multiple lawsuits across the United States, with the company securing an important victory in New Jersey, where a 2-1 vote by federal judges sided with the platform against the gaming regulator in the Garden State.

In Nevada, however, a judge ruled in favor of the local regulators, who seek to preempt federal regulation, which Kalshi claims to be operating under.
