Jose Aldo vs. Aiemann Zahabi UFC 315 Odds, Time, and Prediction
Jose Aldo vs. Aiemann Zahabi is the second fight on the UFC 315 main card, and we think it’s going to be one of the most exciting thrillers the crowd at Ball Arena will witness on May 10.

Jose Aldo (32-9) is a true UFC legend who’s looking to bounce back to the winning track after a split-decision loss to Mario Bautista seven months ago. He’s now locking horns with Canadian fighter Aiemann Zahabi, who’s got a decent record (12-2) but who’s never fought someone of Aldo’s caliber before.

Jose Aldo Favored to Win on May 10
Jose Aldo is already 38, but there are some rumors that he might actually be two years older. Either way, he is approaching the twilight of his career. It’s been a very successful one, which started back in 2004. Over the years, he’s fought the who’s who of UFC Featherweight division – Conor McGregor, Max Holloway, Alexander Volkanovski, etc.
He then switched to the bantamweight division, where he was given a shot at the title in 2020, but Petr Yan beat him by a TKO. From there, he went on to win the next three fights before losing to Merab Dvalishvili, after which he announced retirement.
Aldo came out of retirement two years later with a win over Jonathan Martinez in Rio. He looked great in that fight, which is why many thought that he was going to continue to impress, but then the loss to Mario Bautista happened.
Aldo wasn’t too bad in that fight, but he needs to do even better this time around if he wishes to get back on the winning track.
Aiemann Zahabi’s Biggest Fight So Far
Aiemann Zahabi looks like a very good matchup for Jose Aldo. Although he’s in his late 30s, he still hasn’t fought any major opponent, which explains why his record is 12-2. However, he did do well in his last three fights.
First, he KO-ed Aori Qileng after only 64 seconds; then, he beat Javid Basharat and Pedro Munhoz, each by a unanimous decision. In both of those fights, he landed more significant strikes than the opponent.
Zahabi is expected to go all-in on Saturday as he’s fighting in front of his own crowd in Quebec, where he’s born and bred. The trouble is that his opponent doesn’t mind fighting on enemy territory. In fact, Aldo is 100% when it comes to fighting in Canada.
Jose Aldo vs. Aiemann Zahabi Prediction
We think the UFC did Jose Aldo a favor by matching him with Aiemann Zahabi. It’s a way of saying sorry for the judges scoring against him in his last fight, in which he deserved at least a draw. It’s not going to be easy to beat Zahabi, but we think Aldo’s experience and superior technique will lead him to victory.
Pick: Jose Aldo
