HasanAbi Blasts xQc for Gambling Content, xQc Accuses Hasan of Hypocrisy
The tension between the two streamers goes back to 2022, when xQc placed Piker in the “B” tier of a YouTube ranking, which led Piker to criticize him for promoting crypto gambling to younger audiences
Controversial streamer Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker has recently accused another popular streamer, xQc, of contributing negatively to society because the latter is promoting gambling content to his viewers. However, xQc responded by calling out Hasan on his seeming double standards when it comes to the politics that he promotes to his viewers.
xQc Fires Back at HasanAbi
The feud between popular streamers xQc and Hasan is nothing new, and the latest case is yet another chapter in it. “Are we comparing my contributions to the American political sphere the same as, like, xQc’s contributions to the gambling debt? It’s fucking insane,” Hasan posed a rhetorical question in one of his recent streams.
This was brought to the attention of xQc, who responded by saying that Hasan promotes socialism to his audience while not truly living by those principles in his own life. “Bro is sending all his boys on this rabbit hole of socialism, when he doesn’t participate in his own system. His viewers could be rolling in cash, instead, they’re preaching this dogshit,” the Canadian streamer said.
It’s All Part of an Ongoing Feud
The tension between the two streamers goes back to 2022, when xQc placed Piker in the “B” tier of a YouTube ranking, which led Piker to criticize him for promoting crypto gambling to younger audiences. Their feud escalated in October 2025 after Piker drew backlash for using a shock collar on his dog, a case which was discussed in length in online circles and which deeply impacted the streamer’s reputation. It also prompted xQc to release a lengthy video accusing him of animal abuse.
Meanwhile, gambling has been a huge part of xQc’s content over the past few years ever since he signed a multi-million-dollar deal with streaming platform Kick, whose co-founder is the owner of Stake, a popular online gambling site. Naturally, Stake has sponsored some of the Canadian streamer’s broadcasts as well, with xQc saying he receives $200,000 per gambling stream.
In the realm of online entertainment, where figures like xQc and Piker hold considerable sway over their audiences, conflicts and controversies are almost inevitable. As their feud continues to unfold, it highlights the influence and responsibility that come with being a major presence in the digital age and how that could impact the worldview of millions of people around the globe.
xQc has even said that, if he ever returns to streaming on Twitch, he would still find a way to promote Stake, despite the platform’s much stricter rules when it comes to gambling content.
