The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Sacramento at Fire Mountain became the scene of an important win – a $200,000 jackpot hit by a local Marysville woman.

The woman was playing Three Card Poker and decided to opt for the $5 side bet when good fortune struck, and she scooped the six-figure payout.

“We are thrilled to congratulate Cheryl from right here in Marysville on her lucky jackpot to close out the lucky month of March in a big way,” Mark Birtha, the casino president, said, reviewing the win.

However, the woman won more than that – $218,185.25 in total according to the casino, and was identified as one Cheryl from Marysville.

The property has frequently produced big-time winners, too, with one player securing a $587,317 payout from a blackjack side bet in early March.

Elsewhere, a player secured a $44,996 jackpot off a $0.48 online wager in Michigan, demonstrating the Hard Rock brand’s staying power across different play media.
