In its release, the sports data leader said that its new appointee is a specialist with extensive experience in building high-growth marketing organizations positioned where media, tech, and advertising meet. His prior experience includes time as the CMO of LG Ad Solutions. He has also occupied the same role at Integral Ad Science and Data Axle. Marlow’s earlier career also included a stint at Yahoo’s B2B marketing division.
As CMO of Genius Sports, Marlow will focus on heading the company’s global go-to-market efforts across its core audiences.
The appointment comes at a time when Genius Sports pursues further growth, hoping to expand its role in the ecosystem connecting sports, betting, media, and advertising.
