Galaxy Entertainment Group Brings in Thomas Arasi as New CFO
Arasi is a seasoned veteran who has worked across multiple jurisdictions around the world, delivering results

Galaxy Entertainment Group has appointed Thomas Arasi as its new chief financial officer. This is an important hire that demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening its C-suite and bringing talented individuals on board.
Arasi is no chance hire as he previously served as the president and chief operating officer at Blombery Resorts Corp and has a longstanding track record in the industry. He is now replacing Ted Chan, who will be leaving the company on November 22, 2025, with Arasi officially taking the reins on October 27, 2025.
“Mr Arasi brings extensive expertise to the Group, having over 35 years of corporate experience across multiple industries, including Financial Services, Hospitality, and, importantly, 16 years within Integrated Resorts,” commented Galaxy Entertainment Group chairman Francis Lui.
Lui spoke highly of Arasi’s ability to deliver results in different jurisdictions and across different companies, mentioning North America, Japan, Singapore, and the Philippines as places where the man’s track record has shown.

“I am confident that under Tom’s leadership, we will continue to have an exceptionally strong finance function to support the Group’s business performance and strategic growth. Tom will work with Ted to ensure a seamless handover, transition, and leadership continuity,” he added.
As to Chan, Lui said that he thanked him for his efforts. The man has been part of the Galaxy Entertainment Group since 2018, when he joined as Chief Operating Officer – Japan Development, and helped spearhead efforts in the country through 2022.
As to Chan’s own take, he was deeply appreciative of the opportunity to work with the Galaxy Entertainment Group in the past seven years.
“The journey has been both professionally rewarding and personally enriching. I would like to express my deep gratitude for everyone who has been part of it,” Chan wrapped up.
