This was notably the first of four top Loteria Supreme prizes to be won by players

Texas Lottery Awards $7.5M Prize to IGWT Trust
According to the Texas Lottery’s official announcement, IGWT Trust, of Indialantic, Florida, won the $7.5 million top prize from the Loteria Supreme scratch-off ticket game. This is one of the biggest top prizes offered by the lottery’s games and was notably the first of four top Loteria Supreme prizes to be won by players.
Lottery officials noted that the winning ticket was sold at Pilot Travel Centers 432, located at 8055 S. Interstate 35, in Robinson. The store is eligible to receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, per the lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.
An IGWT Trust representative claimed the prize and spoke with lottery officials about their experience with winning the prize. The claimant explained that they walked into Pilot Travel Centers and saw the ticket vending machine next to the door, so they decided to buy two tickets.
I bought two tickets and the first one wasn’t a winner, but then I scratched off the second and I stood there for a minute and at first I didn’t realize I’d won. Then it started to sink in, and I left and went to a Wendy’s nearby to get something to eat and celebrate.
Lottery winner’s statement
The winner admitted that holding onto the ticket felt “nerve-wracking” and that they still had trouble believing how much they’d won.
Two Other Texas Lottery Players Won Big
The $7.5 million windfall came shortly after more players won seven-figure sums from the Texas Lottery’s scratch-off tickets. These included a resident of Frisco, who won a mouth-watering $2 million top prize from a Golden Riches ticket. This was also the first out of four such prizes to be won by players.
Shortly before that, a resident of Cleveland scooped up $1 million from the lottery’s $1,000,000 Crossword game.
In other news, Texas authorities recently busted an illegal gambling ring believed to have been run by a local mayor and school administrator. The den was located in the backroom of a laundromat and was equipped with several gaming machines.
