Family-Oriented Resort to Open in Cancun, No Casino on Site
Mexico’s most popular tourist destination Cancun is set to open a new resort in December, Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, but the property will not feature an integrated casino.
Luxury Accommodation for Families
Set to open to the public on December 20, Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, located on the Riviera Maya beaches, will become the latest addition to the Royalton Luxury Resorts’ properties, offering luxury accommodation and a variety of entertainment.
The property’s 1,049 luxury suites, designed for families to enjoy their time together, offer a variety of modern accommodation with outdoor terraces and swim-out pools, while the 10 bars and 12 restaurants on site provide guests with unlimited reservation-free dining and local and international beverage options, implementing the ‘All-in Luxury’ concept adopted by the Blue Diamond Resorts chain.
The property’s bars and restaurants will provide room service round the clock, offering guests to taste an array of dishes – from breakfast and coffee to lunch and light bites, elegant dinners and late-night snacks without leaving the comfort of their rooms.
Casino-Less Variety of Entertainment
On the entertainment side, Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun will be offering its guests a wide range of fun activities to satisfy even the most capricious tastes bar those who want to gamble as the resort will not feature a casino on site.
The on-site water park with 14 monster slides, two lazy rivers, spray grounds, and splash pads will be one of the largest in the Caribbean, providing guests with unmatched experiences and fun.
For the fans of indoor activities, there will be an indoor trampoline park, bowling and laser tag, while those who do not want to miss their daily workout schedule will have the Royalton Fit at their disposal. The modern fitness center will also offer instructor-led classes.
The Royal Spa with hydrotherapy, a convention center and a multi-purpose theater will complete the resort’s offering, while for the children there will be a dedicated kids club with supervision.
For those who wish to explore the location, there will be plenty to discover as the property is located within easy reach of dining and nightclubs, golf courses and archaeological sites, as well as the nearby coastal towns of Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos, offering them a Caribbean playground just 35 min away from Cancun International Airport.
The multi-million investment in the Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun affirmed the commitment of Blue Diamond to the Latin American region where its destinations in Cancun and Punta Cana performed strongly despite restrictions on international travel.
