Drake’s $1M Superbowl Bet Blamed for Patriots Loss

Another public bet by Drake goes bust marking his second biggest loss to date

Drake’s most recently publicized bet has come up short, prompting ribbing from netizens and further proof that the Drake curse exists.

This time betting on the Super Bowl LX matchup, the Canadian musician lost $1 million he had wagered on the New England Patriots to win against the Seattle Seahawks. This marks the rapper’s second-biggest loss on a single sports bet.

The Seahawks outplayed the Patriots with an end score of 29-13. Several days ago, the rapper made a post on Instagram where he shared the official bet he had placed on Stake with the following message: “Bet against me if you dare”.

If the bet had been successful, Drake would have walked out with close to $3 million. This has been his single biggest loss on an NFL bet.

Drake’s Previous NFL Bets

In total, Drake has made 18 bets on NFL games, with 12 of them being on Super Bowl games.

Records from thedrakecurse.com show that only 33.3% out of all of his NFL bets Drake has been successful, with his overall winnings surpassing his losses by $680,230.  Drake’s NFL bets average out to $393.900.

The five time grammy winner is yet to top his 2024 Super Bowl bet on the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the San Francisco 49ers, which landed him a $1.2 million payout.

In 2025, Drake made two consecutive unfruitful bets on the Baltimore Ravens, losing close to $460,000.

According to thedrakecurse.com, only 2 of the NFL bets Drake has made have been “Cursed”, one being on the Baltimore Ravens in a 2022 Super Bowl game.

Thedrakecurse.com describes itself as an “independent investigation into Canadian musical artist Drake’s betting habits,” where data on all of Drake’s public bets are recorded.
