Can Chelsea Stage an Upset on July 13?
Chelsea have racked up 14 goals in the tournament so far, which is an average of 2.33 per game. The best thing is that it’s not just down to one or two superstars, as was the case during the Kylian Mbappe days or when Lionel Messi and Neymar played for the Parisians.
In 2025, PSG’s roster is packed with talented players. Joao Pedro, Pedro Neto, and Enzo Fernandez have all been in top form, but the rest of the squad is pulling their weight, too.
In fact, this might be the most complete squad at the 2025 Club World Cup, with quality depth in every position. That’s why they’ve delivered in nearly every match.

We say “nearly” because they did fall short against Flamengo RJ in the group stage (3:1 loss). They also had to dig deep against Benfica in the round of 16. After a 1:1 draw in regulation, they scored another three goals in extra time.
In their most recent game, they beat Fluminense 2:0 with Joao Pedro bagging both goals. However, they made another 15 goal attempts that didn’t go in.
Are PSG’s Boys Really That Good?
PSG roll into the final as the reigning kings of Europe, having lifted the Champions League trophy just six weeks ago. Luis Enrique’s side thrives on team chemistry, but with the kind of talent he has at his disposal, that’s no surprise.
Even though practically all of PSG’s players have been in top shape, a few names have stood out. Kvaratskhelia has been running the show from midfield, constantly creating chances. Plus, Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Hakimi have also been great, especially in big moments.
Ousmane Dembele this season:

Ousmane Dembele’s tournament got off to a slow start due to fitness issues, but he’s bounced back in style. He made his first start in the semifinal against Real Madrid and made it count. He scored one goal, helping his team destroy Los Blancos 4:0 – it was their biggest win over Real Madrid in history.
Chelsea vs. PSG Prediction
Our pick is PSG, as this team looks unbeatable at the moment. The French side has already slain several soccer giants in the 2025 CWC, including Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. And let’s not forget they’re the new champions of Europe.
Sure, Chelsea is a fine team, but we don’t think it’s their time yet. The Blues have a young roster that we’re certain will shine brightly, but not right now.
Pick: PSG
