Catalist Sports, an emerging provider of licensed sports-betting content in the US, announced a major addition that will further boost its growth in America. According to the company’s latest announcement, the experienced James Monk has joined its team as vice president & general manager.
The Company Onboarded a Seasoned Betting Executive
Monk, who was described by Catalist Sports as a “seasoned betting executive,” joins the company at a critical moment as it continues to pursue fast growth in the US sports betting market.
As VP and general manager, Monk will be tasked with leading Catalist Sports’ launch and operations across multiple US jurisdictions. In his position, the appointee will play a key role in establishing the provider as a leading force in one of the world’s fastest-growing sports betting markets.
Catalist Sports added that Monk will be based in the company’s office in New York City, from where he will oversee all aspects of the company’s US operations. According to the official announcement, his purview will include all aspects of U.S. operations. These include:
- commercial partnerships with licensed operators
- regulatory licensing and compliance
- product rollout
- business development strategy
Catalist Sports emphasized that Monk will bring significant industry expertise to its team, ensuring the provider’s future success.
The Beginning of an Exciting New Chapter
Catalist Sports has entered the US market with a bang, securing licenses in 28 states, including Missouri, which is expected to launch regulated online betting on December 1. This latest license highlights the company’s ambition to cement itself as a local powerhouse.
This is further highlighted by the company’s partnership to serve as the exclusive reseller of Infront Sports & Media content, allowing it to bring official data and live streaming rights from over 60,000 events to its US partners.
According to James Monk, the company’s newly appointed VP and general manager, the company’s US entry marks “the beginning of an exciting new chapter.”
