Canada Premier League and ComeOn! Sign Sports Betting and Online Casino Partnership

The Canadian Premier League has secured a multi-year deal with ComeOn!, under which the online gaming site will act as the league’s Official Sports Betting and Online Casino Partner.
Canadian Soccer Business Arranges Multi-Year Deal Between CPL and ComeOn!
Canada’s top professional men’s soccer league Canadian Premier League (CPL) has named the online gaming site ComeOn! its “Official Sports Betting and Online Casino Partner”. The multi-year partnership will put the ComeOn! logo on CPL Club jerseys as of the beginning of the 2021 season, which is set to begin on June 26.
On the weekend, the CPL unveiled the starting date of the 2021 CPL season with an email, where it also added the names of two new partners, ComeOn! and HelloFresh. The sports betting company has also entered into a partnership with Atletico Ottawa, under which it will act as a kit sponsor for the league’s team.
The terms of the deal between CPL and ComeOn! will see the betting operator’s name appear in the content of the CPL Predictor game. The latter provides viewers with the opportunity to predict the outcome of league matches and win a prize. The Canadian Premier League will feature ComeOn! on other digital channels as well, together with the OneSoccer CPL match broadcasts.
“We are excited to have a partner in the emerging industry of sports betting. We feel this is the next innovative step to help drive fan engagement and participation with our CPL matches. Offering interactive and engaging updates match to match is a great opportunity for fans to stay involved.”
David Clanachan, Commissioner, Canadian Premier League
OneSoccer Show to Provide Fans with Weekly Insights
The agreement will also include the launch of the weekly OneSoccer show, “CPL Week in Review presented by ComeOn!” every Monday. It will present a summary of each week’s matches, and a commentary on the future fixtures. Thus, fans will take advantage of news and insights about the CPL in one program.
Berkay Reyhan, chief commercial officer at ComeOn Group, shared his excitement due to the partnership with the Canadian Premier League. Reyhan expressed his confidence that the league will continue its growth and will enlarge its fan base not only in Canada, but globally as well, thanks to the talented Canadian soccer players. The ultimate goal of ComeOn! is to create fun experiences for fans through match predictors and in-stadium events, Reyhan said.
The 2021 Canadian Premier League season is the Canadian Premier League’s third season, which will kick off in Winnipeg, Manitoba, this year. The matches will be played on the turf pitch at IG Field until July 24, 2021.
ComeOn Group’s previous partnership is with gambling technology company Playtech. The two companies signed the deal in April and as a result, customers of the Malta-based company will enjoy the latest game titles released by the technology company, such as the Age of the Gods and the Fire Blaze.
