Borgata AC Asian-Themed Overhaul Pays Off, Company Says
The Borgata Atlantic City has undergone an interesting refurbishment with the addition of a dedicated Asian-themed gaming area

The iconic Atlantic City property has celebrated the recent success of its Asian-themed gaming area at the Borgata Atlantic City, with the gamble, which many saw as risky, but the financials are finally out to justify the spending.
A Gamble That Pays Off as Borgata AC Pivots Towards Asia
As one of the key MGM Resorts International locations, not just in Atlantic City but also in the United States, the property has seen a fair amount of interest and investment.
Bill Hornbuckle, the MGM Resorts International CEO, spoke highly of the property specifically during the second-quarter earnings update, and said that the relaunched gambling space had truly added momentum to the company’s financial performance, making it a worthwhile investment indeed.
“The customer response to thoughtful targeted capital spending has been encouraging, driving double-digit GGR growth and outperforming the market by a wide margin since its debut,” Hornbuckle explained in the update, with the property seeking to create a very unique and distinguished experience.
To flesh out the experience further, the company also started introducing the Yamazaki 18 and Shibui 23 liquors from all over the world, and a staple in Asian culture, reinforcing the feeling of exclusivity but still introducing it to an everyday crowd.
“Every detail of the experience has been thoughtfully curated to ensure our guests feel welcomed, celebrated, and immersed in unparalleled experiences,” the company said in its update, indicating how carefully it had thought about the investment.
This part of the Borgata Atlantic City also has an Asian-inspired restaurant, Noodles, which includes BBQ, seafood, dim sum, and vegetable dishes, another popular staple of Asian cuisine. The restaurant itself is designed in a way inspired by noodles.
