As reported by the casino’s official Facebook page, the lucky casino goer won a life-changing jackpot playing Lightning Buffalo Link
A lucky player at the Black Bear Casino Resort in Minnesota has won a huge jackpot from a slot machine. This was the latest big win at the tribal property, which has previously handed multiple jackpots to fortunate visitors.
Steve’s Casino Visit Turned into a $150K Payday
A player whom casino officials referred to as Steve turned his play session at the Black Bear Casino Resort into a huge payday. As reported by the casino’s official Facebook page, the lucky casino goer won a life-changing jackpot playing Lightning Buffalo Link.
Huge congratulations to Steve for winning an incredible $149,867.45 on Lightning Buffalo Link at Black Bear Casino Resort! That’s one thunderous jackpot — talk about striking gold! We’re so excited for you, Steve. Enjoy every moment of that amazing win!
Black Bear Casino statement
The casino’s official Facebook page posted a photo of Steve holding his prize. Next to him, a Lighting Buffalo Link machine showed that the jackpot had been reset and was standing at $15,368.55 as of the time of the photo.
Black Bear Casino, for context, is located in Carlton, Minnesota. Owned by the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, the property boasts some 1,800 slots and multiple gaming tables. In addition to that, the resort has an adjacent 12-story hotel, allowing it to accommodate hundreds of visitors.
Other entertainment facilities include a concert hall, a golf course, and multiple dining options.
Powerball Jackpot Win Ends Poorly
Speaking of jackpots, a man in Kentucky recently grabbed a life-changing $167 million Powerball jackpot. The catch is that the same man also ended up in jail a few days after winning the huge prize.
James Farthing, who became Kentucky’s largest jackpot winner was charged with battery of a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer, and battery following an altercation at a local hotel. The conflict was allegedly caused by Farthing who hit a hotel guest at the TradeWinds Resort at St. Pete Beach and later a police officer who was trying to de-escalate the situation.
Shortly after that, Farthing tried to flee the scene but was apprehended instead.
On a more positive note, other lottery players also won huge jackpots. These included a winner who has won $12,445,438 from the Colorado Lotto+ game, as well as a Connecticut man who won the $4,000,000 Fortune game.
