Anthony Joshua Gets Polymarket-Branded Necklace Ahead of Netflix Bout
The English boxer is going to walk out in style as he sports new bling worth $400,000 and showing the logo of a resurgent prediction market platform
Anthony Joshua knows how to smile for the cameras, and he has an innate ability to take everything with a smile and a bit of friendly banter – be that joggers’ hello as he does his morning cross, or a $400,000 Polymarket-branded necklace, clearly a market stunt ahead of what could be the most-streamed fight in sports history.
As Anthony Joshua readies to square up against Jake Paul later tonight, Polymarket, a prediction market with a soft spot for opulence and controversy, has sent AJ the necklace piece, which the former two-time heavyweight champion fittingly opened in front of a camera.

AJ will also be wearing the Polymarket-branded diamond necklace during his walkout as he readies to take on Paul. The boxer didn’t mind sharing the video on social media, generating more than 868,000 views at the time of writing this.
AJ was smiling and laughing for viewers, arguing that this was the appropriate level of bling to wear when in the United States. The decision is clearly made with the sole purpose of promoting the Polymarket brand and name.
After a hiatus from the United States, Polymarket is readying to relaunch, hoping to excite sufficient interest in its platform and catch up to competitors such as Kalshi, which are virtually dominating the space.
Under the new White House regime, Polymarket and other prediction markets seem far more likely to face less opposition, although challenges on the state level remain, with Kalshi even faltering in its case in Nevada.
