2025 Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Odds, Time, and Prediction
The 2025 Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 is on the program on Sunday, July 20, at Dover Motor Speedway in Delaware

Our last two NASCAR picks won comfortably – we backed Shane van Gisbergen each time. But we can tell you that we’re not picking SVG to win the 2025 Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400.
He’s a +35000 underdog, and there’s a reason for that. He just doesn’t do well on track like this. Instead, the track in Dover suits guys like Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson, William Byron, and others.

When, Where, and How to Watch?
- Place: Dover Motor Speedway in Dover, Delaware
- Date: Sunday, July 20, 2025
- Time: 2:00 p.m. ET
- How to Watch: TNT
Reasons Why Denny Hamlin Is the Top 2025 Dover Favorite
Hamlin’s average finish at Dover over the past five races is 5.4, which is better than any other active driver. He’s the one who won this race last year, as well as in 2020. He also finished top five in three of the last four starts at the Monster Mile.
Hamlin is turning 45 this fall, but he’s not showing any signs of slowing down. He’s flying high in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series. He’s currently in fifth place, with three wins in the current campaign.
Still, it’s been a while since he last won a race. The last time it happened was in early June in Michigan. Since the start of the NASCAR In-Season Tournament, his best finish was the No.4 position in Chicago.
But that’s because the last couple of races were road races, which drivers like Shane van Gisbergen prefer. Hamlin, meanwhile, prefers ovals like the one in Dover.
Other Drivers to Watch Out for On July 20
The 2025 Dover odds favor Denny Hamlin to win, but there are a couple of other drivers nearby on the favorites list. Those closest to Hamlin include:
- Kyle Larson – He’s one of the best NASCAR drivers of this generation, and he’s got impressive credentials when it comes to racing in ovals. He also won the fall race in Dover in 2019.
- William Byron – He’s still sitting at the top of the Drivers’ standings, but he’s without a single win since the season-opener. Maybe that changes on Sunday?
- Ryan Blaney – This guy is without a sin in 2015, but that’s only fueling his desire to win at Dover. While he hasn’t won this event, he has done well almost every time, but especially in the last couple of years.
In addition to these drivers, all the other ones have Dover odds of +1000 or more. This includes SVG, who won the last two races – and brought a nice profit to those who listened to our betting picks. But his current odds of +35000 suggest that he stands almost no chance of winning on July 20.
2025 NASCAR Dover Prediction
Our pick is Denny Hamlin. This guy is an expert when it comes to racing in Dover, the proof being that he’s the one who won it last year. He wants to do it again to improve his Drivers’ Standing, as well as to end his winless run that started in June.
Pick: Denny Hamlin
