13 Grammy Winner John Legend Booked by Saracen Casino Resort Event Center

John Legend has been booked to perform at the official grand opening of the Saracen Casino Resort Event Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Tickets for the show will become available on February 27 at 10:00 am CST. The event titled “John Legend: A Night of Songs & Stories” is set for June 13. He will be playing some of his hit songs on a piano solo.

Guests must be at least 21 years of age to enter and will not be permitted to record any parts of the performance.

Amongst his multitude of awards are 13 Grammy awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award, and four Emmy Awards. Legend is one of only a few to have ever won an EGOT.

The Event Center Project

Saracen, one of the state’s richest casinos, launched the $250,000 expansion project back in 2024. In addition to the Saracen Event Center, the construction of a 14-story hotel containing 320 rooms is also a part of the project. In total, these two buildings increase the indoor space of Saracen by 400,000 square feet.

Legend will be performing at the new Saracen Event Center’s new concert hall, which opens in April and is said to have more than 1,500 seats.

The Casino Resort has been waiting for six years for a license needed to expand and construct its fourth casino.

The List of Other Shows

A diverse cast of performers has been booked, alongside the 13-time Grammy winner.

In addition to John Legend, on April 18, the Saracen Event Center will host Leslie Jones, a comedian and former Saturday Night Live star.

Three performances are set for May, starting off with the funk legends Kool & The Gang on May 9, followed by Great White and Slaughter, two hard rock bands, both set for May 16.

And set for June 4, just days before the award winner’s show, is Jake Owen, a country music singer.
