Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Mary J. Blige is getting ready to bring her legendary talent to Las Vegas for the first time.

On Monday, January 12, the “Be Without You” singer announced her debut Vegas residency, Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story, at Dolby Live at Park MGM, set for May and July.

“Something I’ve Always Wanted to Do”

“I’ve been so excited to announce this Vegas residency,” Blige said. “Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do.”

The 55-year-old added that the residency is about more than just performing, mentioning the importance of her connection with fans from all parts of the world.

“It’s a chance to get my fans together from all over, different cities, states, and countries, to experience something together. My Life, My Story will be just that, with some surprises for my fans who have been there through it all. See you in May!”

10 Shows in Two Months

The residency will feature 10 shows across two months: May 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, and July 10, 11, 15, 17, 18.

Tickets will first be available through a Citi / AAdvantage presale on Tuesday, January 13, at 10 am PT, followed by an artist presale on Wednesday, January 14, at 10 am PT.

Live Nation and Ticketmaster presales start Thursday, January 15, at 10 am PT, with all presales ending Thursday at 10 p.m. PT. The general public sale opens Friday, January 1,6 at 10 am PT via Ticketmaster.

Blige shared with PEOPLE last November that picking a favorite song to perform is impossible because “they’re all bangers. Every last one of them.”

However, she has found new energy revisiting hits like “Be Without You” on last year’s For My Fans Tour. “I hadn’t performed ‘Be Without You’ in a long time, though, so that was fun to perform with the audience. They’re singing damn near every note. I don’t really even have to sing that.”

Fans can also expect Blige’s signature moves on stage. She described how audiences always cheer her on whenever she dances.

“Any time I begin to dance, they say, ‘Go, Mary.’ No matter what it is, they’re like, ‘Go, Mary.’ And it’s never just one of the signature moves, it’s all the moves,” she said.

“I’m going to do what I want to do, and that’s it. They just love it,” Blige concluded. Metallica may also shake hands on a Las Vegas residency at the Sphere toward the end of 2026, becoming the first heavy metal group to be hosted by the popular venue.
