Las Vegas is ready to once again bring the most popular sports event in America, the Super Bowl, back to Sin City. This could happen as early as 2029, according to rumors first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, and it follows the previous Super Bowl event in 2024, when the Kansas City Chiefs won a hard-fought battle.

Las Vegas Eyeing the Chance to Host Super Bowl Again Soon

This means that Las Vegas is a possible venue for Super Bowl LXIII, with plans supposedly already in place. However, more details will be coming in October, when the official venue will be picked. So far, the available information remains scant.

The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority and the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee are the two bodies to watch as they would be negotiating a potential hosting of the event in Sin City. But it’s not just Las Vegas that is reaching out.

Based on the available information, the NFL may also be interested in reciprocating this interest, citing Las Vegas as one of its desired destinations for hosting the crowning event. It is quite possible to see this happen, as a Letter of Intent has already been submitted by the NFL, inquiring about whether the city and the Las Vegas Raiders would be interested in hosting the event in 2029, 2030, or 2031.

LVCVA CEO Steve Hill has already confirmed that Las Vegas is ready to host the Super Bowl not only as a one-off thing, but as a consistent event on the calendar – “we will do it here, every year,” he said confidently.

Las Vegas has every reason to want this event to become a more frequent fixture on its calendar, with the expected impact of the 2024 event raking in $1 billion for the city. This could help prop up the city’s ailing finances and revenue from the tourist sector.
