Woman Survived Near-Fatal Stabbing, She Is Suing Las Vegas Motel, Escort Service

A woman who was assaulted by an escort website client at the Capri Motel in Las Vegas, and survived a near-fatal stabbing, is now suing both the property as well as the website to have facilitated the meeting.

Escort Was the Victim of a Violent Claim

Sandra Joann Clantz, the victim of the stabbing and a private escort, has filed a lawusit with a Nevada District Court last week, and in it the woman alleges that the property failed to protect her properly. The attacker stabbed her 27 times, believe she would end up dead, and left her outside the room of the mtoel.

The complaint argues that the property was negligent in allowing criminal activity to unfold, including sex trafficking and prostitution, and it is what led to the violent accident. According to the lawsuit, the property disregarded these situations, allowing “repeated criminal activities.”

Skip the Games, the website that facilitated the hiring of escorts, is also named in the complaint, as it has failed to protect the escorts, the plaintiff alleges, and the result is that “dangerous individuals” may end up connected to escrots. 

Skip the Games further lacks a screening process, the complaint alleges. The alleged perpetrator of the attack, one Ryan Heider, was 17 when he visited the victim, falsely claiming at the website he was 22. He traveled from Michigan, and he faces up to 25 years behind bars. 

The Victim Seeks at Least $15,000 in Damages

Heider was tried in October 2025 as an adult, and pleaded guilty to mayhem with a deadly weapon and residential burglary. Clantz is now seeking $15,000 in damages from both defendants, which is the minimum amount allocated by courts in Nevada.

Skip the Games has said that it has not received the lawsuit yet, but said that the accident was indeed horrible. However, the website’s spokesperson also said that it had strict screening protocols in place.
