Week 31 Recap for English Premier League

To recap the English Premier League for Week 31, one has to examine the Spurs game, West Brom, and Crystal Palace. Each of these teams had a run of good luck during their games against opponents, like the 5-0 score for the Spurs winning against Watford. Bournemouth defeated West Brom, and Crystal Palace is two points ahead with their win against Huddersfield.

West Brom and Bournemouth

West Brom has gained 1.01 for the Championship after their game against Bournemouth. The 2 to 1 defeat happened at Vitality Stadium.

Alan Pardew is in charge, but there is a serious concern as to whether he will remain so, after such a let down during the game. West Brom did not start off well with Jonny Evans leaving the game early. However, in the 49th minute, the team took the lead with Jay Rodriguez scoring a goal. It is his ninth of the season.

West Brom sometimes has trouble gaining the lead, and worse holding onto it. However, Bournemouth did not play well during the game, which helped West Brom keep in the game. Eddie Howe played well, and they tried hard, but still, they are not doing well for the year at the moment for the league leaderboard.

Jordan IBE managed to get a goal during the 77th minute of the game, which was followed up by Junior Stanislas making the second goal in the last minute of normal play. West Brom is now down seven days in their losing streak, and Bournemouth has ended four lost games with a win. They jumped into tenth overall in the league.

Crystal Palace and Huddersfield

Crystal Palace is two points ahead of being dropped with their win against Huddersfield. Wilfried Zaha was important for the Palace to keep the match and their position from being dropped out of regulation.
When it comes to Liverpool and the Spurs, Liverpool is ahead in the numbers, with Spurs going into third place. The Spurs needed a win, and it happened with their game against Watford at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah managed to score four goals, which moves his overall season score to 36 goals in 41 games. Roberto Firmino was also helpful for Liverpool.

Stoke had one goal against Everton, who won with two goals. But, when one looks at the Premier League Standings, Manchester City and Manchester United are still showing the best scores.
