Unibet and Evolution Gaming Partner for US Push

Unibet has tied up a new deal with Evolution Gaming, the world’s leader in live gaming solutions. The pair are making a decisive push in the United States, dipping a toe in New Jersey first.

Unibet Pursues Live Gaming Options in New Jersey

One of Kindred Group’s flagship brands, Unibet, has signed up a water-shed partnership with global live dealer gaming supplier Evolution Gaming. The pair will focus on entering the newly-regulated New Jersey market and pivot their expansion across states where online gambling is being discussed.

Evolution has already opened its first live studio facilities in Atlantic City in August, 2018, from where the company will broadcast its games. The tie-up is not random either. Unibet and Evolution Gaming have partnered on a number of projects in the past, specifically in Europe, which has long been the main bastion of iGaming.

Today, both companies feel confident that the introduction of more live gaming options is the correct way to approach the still developing iGaming sector in the United States.

The Unibet brand has a strong footprint in Europe where it has enjoyed exciting growth in Live Casino, thanks in large part to our relationship with Evolution. – Kindred Group Head of Gaming Cristiano Blanco

While regulation promises to offer new challenges at every turn, Kindred Group Head of Gaming Cristiano Blanco has said that Unibet has successfully expanded its reach owing to Evolution Gaming’s products, as reported by Cision.

Mr. Blanco acknowledge that Evolution Gaming has gained a standing in the United States which would effectively allow the companies to forge ahead together.

Now that Evolution has launched its US studio, we look forward very much to establishing and growing the Unibet brand in New Jersey and, in due course, in other US states too.

Evolution’s Director of Business Development James Stern has also attested to the symbiosis between the companies and the successes that mutual deals have brought them in the past. Unibet, Mr. Stern noted, is already working with Evolution in a number of established and newly-regulated markets in Europe.

Mr. Stern also noted that Evolution had already prepared itself for further expansion in 2019, with new products that would only serve to highlight the company’s ability to provide the best technical solutions.

Unibet has surely known trouble in the past, but with a global foot print that encompasses 100 countries and multiple iGaming segment, that’s to be expected. The company has also sought to endorse alternative forms of betting, such as electronic sports – a fairly new concept attracting millions of youthful gamers from across the globe.

Meanwhile, Kindred Group is planning to launch a new sportsbook in New Jersey in the first quarter of 2019. The Group is also partnering with SG Digital in a bid to have all the help it can use in the newly-legalized US market, which will offer great windfall to all those who can break into it. In order to achieve its goals, Kindred amended an existing deal with Kambi, which will bring its sports betting platform to the state.
