Scout Gaming Prepares for Asian Push with Dafabet

Daily fantasy sports (DFS) is big in the United States, but through the work of companies such as Scout Gaming, the segment is enjoying a notable upswing in popularity elsewhere. Catering to local demand & interest, Scout are now preparing to push ahead with their offer in Asia.

SCOUTing New Opportunities for DFS

Scout Gaming, a tech-savvy company specializing in the development of daily fantasy sports (DFS) platforms, has signed a multi-year partnership with Dafabet, a bookmaker with a strong footprint in the Asian market.

Dafabet will use Scout’s DFS platform to provide state-of-the-art experience to customers starting as early as 2019. While the specific markets are undecided, an expansion earlier this year in India has helped Scout benefit immensely from the 2018 Indian Premier League Twenty20 tournament, by catering to DFS fans in the country.

Having tested the waters with StarPick, its Indian partner, Scout is now decided to expand with Dafabet, with the company remaining confident that it will push ahead with a successful and mutually-beneficial partnership. StarPick has already been expanding its fantasy sports platform in overseas markets.

In the words of Scout Gaming Commercial Director Joakim Renman, StarPick has given the company a significant leeway, helping to see the potential of the market.

Mr. Renman acknowledged that DFS was the flagship offer of the company, proving a worthy investment in future. Outlining the opportunities ahead, Mr. Renman also shared that the Asian market for DFS was brimming with potential, thus giving Scout Gaming an incentive to pursue these markets and attract new customers.

Mr. Renman did point out to the company’s own success with multiple verticals and products, emphasizing on Scout’s overall achievements. However, as for the time being, the tech provider wanted to focus on DFS particularly.

The news was equally well-met by Dafabet as well. Nikos Diakoumopoulos, marketing head at Dafabet, confirmed the potential of DFS and said that it would have a significant effect on diversifying the company’s portfolio.

Scout Gaming is a particularly auspicious partner for any company to benefit from because the tech developer taps into a truly global talent base, with offices in Ukraine, Malta, Norway, and Stockholm.

While the Philippines-based Dafabet is a far cry from home, Scout feel confident they will be able to deliver the desired quality product in the still not fully challenged Asian market.
