Scarlet Pearl Casino Goes Pink in Memory of Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton, the renowned Queen of Country, recently passed away. Famous for both her music and her philanthropic work, Parton has become an icon across America. In honor of her life and achievements, the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort has decided to pay her a pink tribute.

Scarlet Pearl Joins Other Properties in Honoring Parton

The Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D’Iberville, Mississippi, has become the latest venue to honor Dolly Parton’s legacy. To that end, the property has gone pink, illuminating its rooftop sign in Parton’s signature color.

In addition to that, the pink tribute has been extended to the porte cochere, making it visible to all visitors.

A short video of the casino’s rooftop shows the Scarlet Pearl sign glowing pink, highlighting the casino’s commitment to honoring Parton’s incredible legacy. Casino officials said that Parton is a true “Pearl of the South” and lauded her contributions to country music and philanthropic work.

For reference, the lights at the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort will remain pink through September 30.

The Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort isn’t the only gambling venue to honor Parton’s passing either. In South Florida, various properties lit up in pink to say their goodbyes to the legend. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, for example, had the lights of its iconic guitar-shaped building turn pink and display an effect showing Parton’s signature butterfly.

Parton Was Set to Perform in Vegas This September

For reference, Dolly Parton was no stranger to performing at gaming properties. In line with her efforts to reach the audience, she has performed at a variety of Las Vegas venues, including the Riviera Hotel and The Mirage.

Parton was also set to have a residency at Caesars Palace, which would have seen her put on six concerts. Unfortunately, health complications led to her deciding to cancel the residency.

For context, the six shows would have taken place from September 17 to 26, 2026. Ticketmaster previously stated that customers who purchased tickets through the platform will receive refunds within two to three weeks.
