Hero Gaming will roll out a number of renowned brands, including Casino Heroes, CasiTabi, Bester and Speedy Casino. Presently, Hero Gaming only holds a license from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), but the company has expressed interest in procuring a Swedish license.
Meanwhile, Hero Gaming’s CEO, Tomas Backman, has used the occasion to highlight the technological achievements of Red Tiger and commend the products that it has been able to deliver so far.
Red Tiger Gaming’s products are among the most popular in the industry and we’re very excited about offering them to our players for the first time.
Red Tiger’s own executive, Gavin Hamilton, has also joined in highlighting the importance of the partnership and particularly the timing of the deal with Sweden becoming the next frontier of iGaming and betting activities in Europe come January 1, 2019. Mr. Hamilton expressed his commitment to developing the company’s portfolio further with the help of the respected casino brand.
We’re looking forward to working with them in Sweden next year and building a long-term partnership with their casinos in other regulated markets around the world. -Red Tiger CEO Gavin Hamilton
Red Tiger is already catering to various customers from across Europe, including in places such as the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Denmark, Italy and Spain. Spain is proving to be a market of a particular interest as well.
An Already Saturated Market
LeoVegas, one of the latest companies to obtain its license for a Swedish iGaming future, has expressed interest in the Spanish market and Spanish-speaking countries in general. Meanwhile, Italy’s undergoing certain turmoil as the government is set on banning most gambling content advertisement come 2019.
Nevertheless, Red Tiger and its partners remain strong in Italy, despite the legal obstacles and mounting pressure. Meanwhile, Sweden has seen quite a few companies sign up, including Svenska Spel, Kindred Group and Betsson.
Betsson has been trying to break into new markets, but it has incurred the wrath of the KSA, the Dutch regulator, which is now pursuing the company for offering iGaming products to Dutch nationals without having a proper license to do so. A fine worth €300,000 has been issued to the company’s subsidiary, Corona.
More companies have recently obtained the right to operate in Sweden, including Betway, Bethard, MRG, The Stars Group, Global Gaming, and VideoSlots. The number of operators has been growing and the competition is very likely to be substantial.
Most operators will seek to field several brands at once, making for a very saturated market as soon as the activity becomes legal with the turn of the clock at midnight, December 31, 2018.
