Our PSG vs. Bayern Munich prediction is that the CWC quarterfinal game is going to be a real banger. We think there’ll be lots of goals, almost certainly on both ends, unlike in the last four duels of these two, each of which Bayern Munich won to nil.
But this time around, not only do we predict PSG will score, but we think they stand a very good chance of winning on July 5. We’re not the only ones who think so – bookies favor PSG as well, giving the UCL winners the odds of +125.

Reasons Why 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Odds Favor PSG
Although the PSG vs. Bayern odds aren’t miles away, bookies do favor the French team. No surprise there – this is the team that won the Champions League just a month ago.
Plus, PSG’s players have been fantastic since coming to America. They did slip against Botafogo RJ, losing 1:0 in the second round, but other than that, they won everything – 4:0 against Atletico Madrid, 2:0 against the Seattle Sounders, and, most recently, 4:0 against Inter Miami in the round of 16.
Speaking of the Inter Miami game, our pick was PSG & Over 2.5 Goals – and it won – but to be 100% honest, we expected Lionel Messi & Co. to put on a harder fight. But they were unable to do so as PSG’s players completely dominated every aspect of the game, especially in the first half.
Bayern Munich’s Players are a Joy to Watch
Bayern Munich is a team famous for attacking-minded soccer, which we’ve witnessed at the 2025 CWC. The German champions have scored a total of 16 goals so far in this tournament, which is more than any other team.
It’s not really a surprise given that they have such scoring machines on their roster as Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala, and others. They’re in great shape right now, there’s no arguing about that. But there’s a caveat – their impressive score difference is due to destroying much weaker opponents. In fact, 10 of the 16 goals they scored were against Auckland City.
Their toughest opponent so far was Benfica, who beat them 1:0 in the final game of the group phase. Truth be told, Bayern played with backups on the field as they had already secured a place in the knockout stage.
PSG vs. Bayern Munich Prediction
PSG failed to score against Bayern in their last four meetings, but our prediction is that they’ll get on target on July 5. Actually, we think they’re going to do it several times. Bayern might score too, but not enough to get a win.
Pick: PSG & Over 2.5 Goals
