Pragmatic Play has introduced new games to strengthen its live casino portfolio, and particularly the poker segment, with the addition of Jacks or Better Draw Poker and Casino Hold’em.
Pragmatic Play Staggers Release of Its Debut Poker Live Games
This is an ambitious undertaking that will see the company capitalize on the already popular titles and bring them to its live suite of games, seeking to further differentiate its offer from competitors and create brand-new experiences for players.
The provider’s live poker title – Casino Hold’em – will also be a first shot for the company at hosting poker, and it will see players vie against the dealer. Whoever has the better hand will win in the end.
Then, there is Jacks or Better Draw Poker, which will be coming later, in July, and which will have players hold the initially dealt cards – five of them – or discard any number of cards to create the best hand. Once again, they will be competing against the dealer.
Both games will come with a special ante bet which can potentially pay up to 20,000x jackpot on a straight, four of a kind, or straight flush on the flop, and this jackpot-type bet will hit every 45 days on average.
Pragmatic Play Confident in New Titles’ Success
Pragmatic Play Chief Operating Officer Irina Cornides has welcomed the arrival of the new products, celebrating their significance for the company’s game portfolio and the long-term implications of delivering these products into the library of games.
“Featuring fast-paced gameplay, jackpot wins of up to 20,000x, and Smart Studio customisation, Casino Hold’em and Jacks or Better Draw Poker are set to bring a new dynamic to online casinos,” Cornides explained.
Pragmatic Play has also been maintaining a good pace of production in its slot portfolio with the recent releases of Gates of Hades and The Dog House – Royal Hunt.
